A finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council competition north east region (2018), and a grant recipient of both the Wagner Society of New York (2020) as well as the Olga Forrai Foundation (2022), Jeremy Brauner has been receiving recognition and accolade as an up and coming dramatic tenor.
In 2012, Jeremy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Montclair State University where he had his first experience with opera. He began his opera career as a baritone starring in Rossini’s La scala di seta and La cambiale di matrimonio. In 2016 he made his debut as a Tenor performing in their production of La traviata (Alfredo) with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble. In 2017 he performed in Tosca (Cavaradossi), as well as Un ballo in maschera (Ricardo)
In 2020 he debuted with Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre in Madama Butterfly (B.F Pinkerton) and starred in Teatro Grattacielo’s filmed production of Fedora (Loris Ipanov), available on Youtube. In 2021 he joined New Amsterdam Opera in their production of I vespri sicilliani (Arrigo), a performance described by OperaWire as “a voice of unbridled power, with a spine-tingling squillo”.

In 2022 Jeremy made numerous role debuts. He joined New York City opera in the World premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon’s The Garden of the Finzi Continis’ as (Giorgio)
and Teatro Grattacielo’s production of Zondanai’s Giullette e Romeo (Il Montecchio and Romeo Cover) He joined with Boheme Opera of New Jersey in Rigoletto (Duke of
Mantua) as well as Opera Modesto La bohéme (Rodolfo). He later revived his performance of Rigoletto (Duke of Mantua) with Resonance Works and Nickel City
Opera the same year. In the summer of 2022 he joined Opera North in their 40th season for La traviata (Alfredo)
In 2023 Jeremy returned to Boheme opera of New Jersey for their production of Madama Butterfly (B.F Pinkerton) and joined the Savannah Voice Festival for another performance of Madama Butterfly (B.F Pinkerton). He made role debuts with Opera Tampa Pagliacci (Canio) and joined Midatlantic Opera for a performance of Cavalleria Rusticana (Turridu) In 2024 Jeremy joined Sarasota opera in their productions of Lucia di Lammermoor (Normanno) as well as Luisa Miller (Rodolfo Cover). In 2025 he returned again for their performances of Stiffelio (Rafaelle) and the double bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci (Turridu & Canio Cover)
